The Air Transport Authority (RVA) has announced the immediate demolition of the unauthorised constructions erected on the airport easement of Ndjili International Airport. This decision aims to restore state authority and ensure aviation safety.
Meeting on Wednesday, September 24, with the Head of State's Special Advisor on Security, Professor Désiré Cashmir Eberande Kolongele, the Acting Director General of the RVA, Louis Blaise Londole Lokoy, requested the support of the Kinshasa provincial government for this operation. The request was addressed to the provincial Minister of the Environment, Public Cleanliness and Beautification, Léon Mulumba.
