An eight-story building under construction collapsed on the evening of Friday, March 7, in Mbudi Machungu on Voka Avenue in the CPA Mushie neighborhood, Mont-Ngafula Commune (Kinshasa).
There were no losses of life, but significant material damage, Radio Okapi reported.
The building's foundations were unable to support the full load of the structure, leading to its collapse, according to neighbors.
